One Night Changed Everything (Last Part)

Last Part

The sound of scream made Ridhima shudder with fear. She pulled back.

‘Where did this sound come from?’ She asked. Her voice was trembling with fear.

‘Nothing darling… you don’t pay attention to all this.’ He replied casually.

Sweat drops appeared on his own forehead.

Some more muffled screams followed.

‘Tell me Samarth where are these sounds coming from?’ She demanded.  She was worried and terrified.

‘From other room…’ He replied, weakly.

‘You mean the voice is coming from the room where Tanmay, Varun and Rudra are staying?’ She questioned, startled.

‘Yes..’ He gave monosyllable reply. He was now little annoyed with this odd time quizzing.

‘What are they doing there?’ She shot another question.

‘They are enjoying their night Ridhi… now you stop thinking about all this. I don’t want to spoil our special night.’ He said and took her hand in his lovingly.

Ridhima was little puzzled but she knew how Tanmay, Varun and Rudra are so she let it go.

Samarth wrapped her in his arms. She smiled even though her mind was still thinking about the scream. Samarth could make out from her expression that she was not feeling fine. He caressed her hairs softly making her feel relaxed. He cupped her face in his palms gently and kissed her cheek. She too hugged him.

‘Ridhi, I love you.’ He murmured, smelling the fragrance of her silky hair.

‘I love you too.’ She replied.

He came over her. She felt his breaths on her face. He leaned closer and touched her lips with his. She gripped him tightly. The kiss grew deeper and intense. He looked into her eyes asking for her consent to go further. She closed her eyes giving her consent. His hands floated under her skin. Her hands balled into fists as she withered with the pain of first heavenly make out. Lights went off. Night trailed and their souls became one.

Next morning when Ridhima woke up, she extended her arms to hold Samarth. Her arms could not locate Samarth on bed. She opened her eyes and found herself covered only with a bedsheet. She smiled remembering the moments of last night. She looked other side but Samarth wasn’t there.

She sat up wrapping herself tightly with bedsheet. She took her mobile and dialed his number. She heard his cell ringing in her room itself. She looked around and saw his mobile and car keys kept on the bedside table. She took a sigh of relief. She understood that he might be somewhere in farmhouse itself.

She got up, put on her dress and combed her hair. She went outside the room to look for Samarth. There was a deadly silence everywhere. She felt a bit strange in such atmosphere. She took a few steps and opened the door of the room. It was empty. She walked ahead and opened the door of another room to see if there was someone.

She saw someone lying there on bed. She could not make out who the person was due to darkness in room. With shaky legs she stepped inside and switched on the lights.

The room was illuminated. Her gaze fall on the person lying on bed and what her eyes saw was a terrible sight. There was a girl lying on the bed. Her unclad body was partially covered with a bedsheet. Her both hands and legs were tied with ropes. Her face was hidden with the fallen strands on her face. Her body was lying motionless.

‘Hey, who are you?’ Ridhi said in a weak voice. She didn’t respond.

Her body was lying like a corpse.

‘Is she dead?’ The thought made Ridhima shiver.

Gathering all her courage and praying in her heart she walked near to the body, dead or alive, she didn’t know. Her heart was beating with an immeasurable speed. She was nervous. She was scared.

She looked at her closely. She felt the slow rhythm of her heartbeat. She felt relaxed knowing that girl is alive. With shivering hands she cleared the fallen strands from her face. She was jolted with shock. She recognized the girl. She knew her. She felt the surface beneath her legs shaken.

The shock was too harsh for her to believe. She was completely shaken at the sight. Tears streamed down her eyes. Somehow her mind didn’t lose its senses. She quickly untied the girl and sprinkled some water on her face.

‘Open your eyes.’ Ridhima said with tears.

The girl opened her eyes, slowly. She was in pain. She murmured something in an inaudible voice.

‘How did you come here?’ Ridhima asked.

The girl tried to speak but words did not come out from her lips.
Ridhima collected her dress from the floor and made her wear the dress. She adjusted pillows behind her back and made her sit comfortably. She hugged her and cried.

By now Samarth was back in his room. When he didn’t find Ridhima there, he started searching her in other rooms. He found her in a room sitting with a girl, both crying profusely.

‘Ridhi what are you doing here with this girl?’ He asked, entering inside the room.

‘She is my sister Samarth.’ She replied, crying bitterly.

‘What…???’ He asked in utter shock.

‘Yes, she is my sister Mahika.’ She replied back.

He didn’t know how to react. His heart skipped all its beats for a moment.

‘Let’s go back.’ Was all he could manage to say.

They left the farmhouse. Samarth was driving way back to their homes while Ridhima and Mahika sat on the back seat. Ridhima was consoling her and trying to know how she had reached farmhouse. After insisting so much finally Mahika unfolded the tragic even of last night.

Last night

After when Ridhima left with Samarth for farmhouse, Mahika had severe headache. She looked for medicines but could not find any. She decided to go nearby chemist shop and get some medicine. When she was coming back to home from the deserted roads of Smriti Vihar colony, she saw a car coming towards her. There were three boys insde the car, boozing and taking puffs of smoke. They were Rudra, Tanmay and Varun.

As they saw a young and beautiful girl walking on the lonely way, they slowed down their car and passed some filthy remarks. She ignored their remarks and started walking in a faster pace.

Rudra, who was driving the car, stopped it. She was terrified but continued walking. Tanmay and Varun came down from the car. They walked towards her and Varun caught hold of her hand. She jerked his hands off. She sensed their intentions are not good. She ran. They ran after her and caught her. She shouted aloud and warned them to not block her way. Varun tightened her grip on her. Tanmay smiled wickedly at her with lusty eyes. She tried to scream. Tanmay put his hand on her mouth to not let her scream. She tried to push them away physically. Tanmay took out the licensed revolver of his dad. He pushed the nozzle of revolver in her mouth.

They dragged her to the car forcefully. She tried hard to escape but her all efforts went in vain. They were stronger than her. They pushed her inside the car and stuffed her mouth with a handkerchief so that she could not scream again.

Rudra drove in a very high speed. Within few minutes they reached farmhouse. There they threw her on the bed like a flesh of meat and tied her hands and legs with rope. Then they called Samarth to show him that they have got their prey for tonight.

Ridhima remembered about the call from Varun when Samarth went to meet them.

When Samarth went to their room they showed him a girl tied on bed and offered him to enjoy the night with them but Samarth refused their offer telling them that he had got his girl. They insisted him to have drinks with them Samarth agreed. They shared few drinks together and laughed at the thought of how there were going to spend their night.

Ridhima remembered about the sound of laugh coming from their room.

After having drinks Samarth went back to Ridhima. Now the three hungry lions were ready to attack their prey.

Tanmay took the lead. He put off her dress. Varun and Rudra helped him by holding Mahika. Varun took out handkerchief from her mouth and placed a kiss on her lips forcefully. She resisted and screamed.

Ridhima remembered about the scream she had heard last night.

Rudra immediately stuffed her mouth with handkerchief again.
Tanmay jumped on top of her. She tried to resist but they all were too strong for her. Tears trickle down from her eyes. They didn’t care. They played with every inch of her body. Tanmay forced himself in her, forcefully. She felt an excruciating pain. This was worst feeling for her. She cried. She wanted to scream. Her innocence was devastated. When she could not resist more, she surrendered herself to their evil lustful wishes. She was alive but her soul was dead. She was lying there like a dead body.

One by one they played and devoured her. She was just a piece of fresh meat for them to eat raw. By the end of night when they were tired and exhausted of devouring her, she was unconscious.

In early morning Varun received call from his dad, who wanted him to come back home. They decided to go back home. Tanmay called Samarth to tell him that they had to go back.

Ridhima was in deep sleep so Samarth left her sleeping in the room and went to see them off. They left Mahika, tied on bed, to die.

Present Day

By the end of her story they had reached home. They all were crying. Ridhima was blaming herself for whatever happened. Samarth was feeling guilty too. Mahika was completely shattered.

Ridhima and Mahika came out of car. Samarth wanted to stay with them but Ridhima denied telling him that she wanted to stay alone with her sister and if she would need him she would call herself. Samarth didn’t force her. They went inside.

Day passed. Mr. and Mrs. Asthana returned. Mrs. Asthana rang the bell. There was no reply. Mr. Asthana knocked at the door. No one came out. Mr. and Mrs. Asthana called at Ridhima and Mahika’s mobile. They were switched off.

Now they were worried. Mr. Asthana broke open the door. There was a wave of silence inside. Everything was at its place. There was no sign of Ridhima and Mahika. Mrs. Asthana called out their names. There was no response. She saw the lights of Mahika’s room switched on. She opened the door. She was stunned to see the dead bodies of their daughters. Their wrists were slit. The blades were lying next to them. Their bodies were lying on the floor submerged in their own blood.

She screamed ‘Ridhima….Mahika…’

Mr. Asthana came running to the room. He found his wife crying near to the dead bodies of their daughters. He was equally shocked as his wife. They were too shocked too accept the harsh reality. Mrs. Asthana could not bear the sight and suffered from cardiac attack. As soon as she was taken to hospital, doctors declared her dead. It was hard for Mr. Asthana to bear the pain of deaths of his beloved ones. He became numb. Doctors advised him to send rehab centre.

Ridhima was feeling guilty and ashamed of herself for not protecting her sister. She felt guilty. She blamed herself for everything. She thought if she had not gone with Samarth this wouldn’t have happened. Mahika was shattered. There was no hope left in her heart to live. They felt it would be better if they die than to live with the nightmare. They had lost their confidence.

Life isn’t easy. Some mistakes are incorrigible. There are sometimes no time outs and no second chances. Everything was over. One night changed everything.

Forever in love♥

After two weeks of cold war. Vidaan decided to break the ice. He dialed a well known number on his iPhone. A beautiful face flashed on his mobile screen.  The face he loved more than his life. His reason to live. He waited for the call to be received. "Hello." "Hey love. " "Why did you call me?" "I want to meet you. We need to talk." "No. There is nothing left to talk. " "Naina for the sake of our love please don't say no." After a pause "Okay " "I'll wait for you at the same place." "I'll be there by 7 p.m." "Thank you." Call was disconnected without any further reply. Vidaan glanced at watch. It struck 2:00 pm. "Still 5 hours in hand" he said to himself.  He called his secretary and instructed her to cancel all his meetings for the day. He immediately left office in his favorite SUV. He put on the music and it played "Dil ibadat kar

A Star Studded Night

Sitting under the star studded sky with you This feeling is so very special and new If I were a poet I would've described How it feels when you sit by my side ... Looking into my eyes when you say my name Hold my hand in yours, our eyes play game As your lips trace the path to my lips I can't control, the beat of my heart skips ... When your fingers wander aimlessly on my skin I give in to my senses, I don't care if it is a sin As the night advances to its glory The love marks on my skin tell a new story... The story tells about  the conquest of love and lust How the darkness take over and emotions burst How the two souls mingle into one How both struggle to win and loses none... The end of battle is so enthralling and lovely Its painful and pleasurable simultaneously I wish the night to last forever The moments are precious like a treasure... #KANYA

You Are Not Alone...

You’re Not Alone "The Castle"  written in big italic golden letters on the black graphite nameplate. How beautiful it looks. After so many prolonged discussions we’d decided this name for our newly built bungalow, two years back, before getting married. The memories of the day are still fresh when I came here after marriage. It was lavishly adorned with colorful flowers, illuminated with countless lights. Two years have bygone. It still looks marvelous. I close my eyes. Some images appear.  I’m wearing a red saree with matching golden blouse. My wrists are filled with red bangles. Intricate heena design is applied on my palms till my forearm. There are silver anklets in my legs. The tinkling sounds of bangles and my laughter are adding melody in the air. I’m running down the white marble stairs. He is running after me to catch me. He is just a few steps away. I turn back and tease him by waving his childhood pic, in which he is wearing a pink frock and hat. He
